The Kohler C1 Indoor Sauna is the right Kohler choice when the sauna belongs inside a finished wellness room, gym, guest suite, or spa space. Choose it for a lower cabin weight, optional floor kit, 4.5 kW or 9 kW FERO heater sizing, and a furniture-like indoor presence.

Site planning
- Indoor placement requires a dedicated 220 to 240V GFCI circuit sized to the selected sauna.
- Kohler calls for 8 ft minimum room height and 2 in minimum clearance around the cabin.
- No plumbing is required; electrical work still belongs with a licensed electrician.

Is the Kohler C1 for indoor use only?
Yes. C1 is the indoor Kohler sauna family. For year-round outdoor placement, compare the Kohler C2 line.
Which C1 sizes use the 4.5 kW heater?
The 2-person and 3-person C1 models use the Klafs FERO 4.5 kW heater. The 5-person C1 uses the 9.0 kW FERO heater.
Do I need the C1 floor kit?
Not always. Kohler designed the C1 to sit on a suitable level, non-water-absorbent floor. Add the floor kit when the installation surface is not appropriate for direct placement.
