Four things to settle before you choose.
Short answers to what decides a wood stove, each from the manuals printed on SDP’s heater planning pages.
Size it on the room, then add for glass
Multiply width by depth by ceiling height: a 6 by 7 ft room with a 7 ft ceiling is 294 cu ft. Each heater is rated for a range of room volume, and the room has to land inside it.
Glass, tile and stone soak up heat, so makers add to the volume for them. Harvia adds 3.94 cu ft for every square foot, HUUM 3.3 and Saunum 3.0. A 24 by 80 in glass door is 13.3 sq ft, so that room counts as about 347 cu ft for a Harvia. The sizer at the top of this page does the sum for each maker.

Plan the flue before the stove. The Harvia M3 and Legend connect to a 4.5 in, T600-rated chimney. Harvia’s WHP steel chimney goes straight up through the roof, and Harvia specifies it for standalone outdoor sauna buildings; indoors, your installer specifies a listed chimney.
Check the stove’s top clearance against your ceiling as well: the M3 asks for a finished ceiling of at least 79 in.

A wood stove needs room around it. A heat shield made for the stove lets it sit closer: Harvia’s WL400 or WL450 sheath brings the M3 to about 2 in from the side and rear walls, with 12 in kept clear in front.
Put a non-combustible base under the stove, and follow the manual for the floor in front of the door.

Most stoves are fed through a door in the sauna. A through-wall version is fed from the next room or from outside, so ash and wood stay out of the hot room: the Harvia M3 SL and the Pro 20 SL work this way.
A through-wall stove sets where the wall goes, so choose it before the walls are framed. The designer places it on the wall you pick.
